- Mayor Bowser placed the blame on a D.C. Superior Court judge after a 15-year-old girl was released on robbery charges and then later arrested for carjacking. Hertzfeld said in court she’s even considered holding the agency in contempt over its failings. [NBC Washington]
- Roughly 400 migrant children are enrolled in D.C. Public Schools. The school system says it’s increased its budget for translation and interpretation services, but officials still say they’re struggling to provide bilingual mental health counseling. [Axios]
